This is the actual video of the very first moon landing of the Apollo 11 mission in 1969! Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon with his now legendary words “One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind.” This is a truly amazing video. If you think about it, you have orders of magnitude more processing power in your mobile phone than they did in the whole space craft!! Incredible!

  1. The pressure drops so quickly that it makes the water molecules in the air go from gas to liquid to solid rather quickly. That and it’s really cold in space, so the ice forms on the outside of the rocket.

These videos were great! In the second video, we noticed ice breaking off of the shuttle as it lifted off. Can you explain why? Thank you!

  3. Carol Emmert says:

    ok, than you

  4. Yes we did land on the moon with the Apollo missions. There’s a hoax going around for the past 40 years that says we didn’t land on the moon, but it’s not true. You can read about future plans to land on Mars here.

  5. Carol Emmert says:

is there proof that man landed on the moon? one of my friends says that they did not.
