Ever wonder what sines, cosines and tangents are used for in the real world? The truth is, most kids and teachers that study this stuff DON’T actually understand what it’s useful for! So let’s take a sneak peek at a college-level physics class that uses trig to solve real world problems. If you’ve never seen trig before, don’t worry – I’ll bet you can catch on quickly to what we’re doing as we go along.

  1. Yes we covered this in both our Algebra and Geometry classes (click for recordings in the Unit 24 section) when we did real astronomy problems and had to work with large numbers.

  2. Could you please do a class on multiplying and dividing scientific notation?
