It works! Thank you Aurora. It was fun.

  3. More hot glue? 🙂

No seriously… I think what you are asking is how to make the markers more adjustable? One student said she used crayons that were adjustable inside by screwing them in and out of the holder. Another student let me know that they glued the marks in place while standing it on the paper so they could line them all up in the right position as the glue dried. What do you think you can do to make them line up better?

This is such a great experiment!!! I am having a lot of trouble getting all of my marker to touch, though. Any ideas on how to fix that?

  6. Sure – you can use whatever motor you’ve got around. Just make sure to have enough power available to run it, or it won’t turn. What size do you have?

    Aurora,

Could you use more than 3Vs for the motor ?? Kristian

My boys have loved this project. Just had to share with you the variation that they came up with to over come the problem of the bots tipping over. They used a large yogurt container and taped the markers to the outside. Then they mounted the motor on a popsicle stick and put the battery pack and wires inside the container. No more falling robots!
