BONUS WEEK! Spring Break Classes Every Day!

Join Aurora LIVE every day for a whole week of hands-on science! Kids will go through a 30-minute introductory class with Aurora and learn the basic concept for the day. All ages, no previous experience required.

Step 1: Print your Workbook and Gather your Materials

Each day, you will be building projects, doing activities and designing experiments! In order to do that, you'll need some basic building materials. If you can't find a particular item, wait until class and see how Aurora is using these items (she'll often let you know appropriate substitutes), and then use what you have. You shouldn't need to purchase very much (if anything at all) to do most of the activities during Spring Break Camp!

Step 2: Post to Facebook during Spring Break Science Camp!

I've put together a special Facebook Private group just for the general public that will be joining us for our Spring Break Camp. Since we had thousands of kids signing up to join us, this is where they will be posting their projects. YOU, however, will  continue to use the same Facebook group you've always used, and our moderator will continue to make sure it stays safe and friendly. In fact, we're not allowing anyone new to join your Student Facebook group until after the camp is over, just to be extra-safe. If you haven't already, be sure to post something to introduce yourself to the other students!

Bonus Videos & Labs from Biology Class

We covered a lot today, from cells and DNA to how microscopes work to making observations and asking good questions! If it went by a little fast, here's step-by-step instructions for each of the labs. Enjoy your biology activities!

Day 3: Chemistry

Acid-Base Indicator Rainbow

Day 4: Earth Science

Rock Candy Crystals

This step by step video will show you how to make sugar crystals that are fun (and edible!) You'll need white granulated sugar, water, a glass jar, and adult help.
