In this class, we introduce the transistor and build Activity 1.

Homework: Draw your own copy of the schematic for Activity 1.

In this class, we continue our exploration of transistors by building Activity 2. We also learn about DC motors.

Homework: Draw your own copy of the schematic for Activity 2.

Reminder: There was no class on February 16, 2026.

In this session, we build Activities 3 and 4 as we learn about the differences between NPN and PNP transistors.

Homework: Rebuild Activities 3 & 4.

In this class, we build Activity 5 and learn how Bipolar Junction Transistors can be used together to build more advanced circuits.

Homework: Rebuild Activity 5 by following the schematic.

In this class, we review Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJTs) and then introduce Field Effect Transistors (FETs) by building Activity 6.

Homework: Rebuild Activity 6 and draw your own copy of the schematic.

In this class, we learn more about field effect transistors and how they compare to bi-polar junction transistors. We then build activity 7 and learn how to use a linear voltage regulator.

In this class, we cover the review quiz for Section 3.

Homework: Build the LED blinker bonus activity in the workbook.
